The picture doesn't do it any justice! The texture on these clips is really nice, a couple have a row of subtle flowers. I was unsure what exactly the clasp was, and couldn't find reviews that said either way, so I will clarify for the next girl. These are the kind of clips that are all one piece of metal, with the long part of the back piece that slips behind a short piece. They hold very well.
