Nite Curl 21-Piece Travel Kit Review
****This is a really compact travel set of curlers of all different sizes that nest really well, so that most people would have enough in size and numbers in order to do their hair. However, not everyone can use these curlers. Many people say that their hair gets tangled and they hate them. Not me, but this is because I have heavy, straight, shorter hair--for this they are perfect! They stay in when nothing else will. For me, the velcro ones fall right out. These curlers grip good and hard and then stay in and for me (my hair is medium length) they never tangle. If my hair was longer, below my shoulders, though, I'd worry that it might, especially after what others have written.
These curlers come in many different sizes and I like the larger assortment of 48 pieces for shorter to medium hair, but I also bought this assortment for travel and am pleased with it. What I plan to do is to put the exact curlers in the case that I do my hair with and thus have the exact right sizes and numbers. This travel kit does have some bigger curlers in it for longer hair that I like and have incorporated into my assortment for shorter hair. Sometimes I use the big huge ones just for body.
I threw out my old slippery velcro curlers. A good way of knowing if these will work for you is if you think that velcro curlers are slippery and if they fall out of your hair because it is so heavy and straight. If that's true for you, you'll be delighted with these curlers!
Recommended only if you have a certain type of hair.
