I have baby fine, naturally ash blonde, long hair. My hair is neither thick, nor thin, but its fineness makes it feel thin after conditioning. Despite the texture permanent coloring adds, it still falls limp and unmanageable, and always needs product to thicken, and make it hold style. Davines is the first product I've found in many years that does the job without adding weight and oiliness. Its foam texture is very light, yet creamy and as powerful as it needs to be without making my hair stiff and brittle. It doesn't coat my irons with gum, either, and seems to protect my hair from heat damage. I used to use a Sebastian mousse for fine hair until they changed the formulation, and it was several years before I found Davines Defining Creative Moulding Foam. The other Davines products may be good for other hair types, but this is the only one that works magic on my fine hair.
